City of Alexandria Academy Program Accepting Applications for Spring 2024

The City of Alexandria is offering its residents, business owners, and city employees the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the city government through the Alexandria City Academy program. The program aims to establish a strong connection between community input and policy decisions, infrastructure needs, and financial considerations.

The Alexandria City Academy classes will span over a period of nine weeks on Thursday evenings, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. The classes will take place at various locations throughout the city, starting on Thursday, March 14, and concluding in May. A graduation recognition ceremony will be held during a Tuesday City Council Legislative Meeting. It is important to note that one class will be held on a Saturday morning. Interested individuals are encouraged to apply before the February 23rd deadline.
