On February 15, the 1500 block of King Street in our city will temporarily be closed to facilitate important construction work. Extreme Steel Crane & Rigging will be closing the section between Peyton Street and Harvard Street from 9:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. the following day. The closure is necessary to accommodate the placement of a crane and trucks for the purpose of hoisting HVAC equipment to the building located at 1555 King Street.

During the scheduled work hours, parking will be restricted along this block to ensure the safety and efficiency of the operation. Additionally, residents in the area can expect noise levels to be kept to a minimum during the early morning hours.

To ensure the smooth flow of traffic, there will be designated detour routes. All westbound traffic on King Street at Peyton Street will be directed to Cameron Street and then back to King Street. Similarly, all eastbound traffic on King Street at Daingerfield Road will be directed to Prince Street, then S. Peyton Street, and finally back to King Street.

Efforts have been made to inform the surrounding neighborhoods about the upcoming closure. Notices have been distributed to ensure residents are aware of the temporary inconvenience and can plan accordingly.

For any questions or concerns regarding the closure, individuals are encouraged to contact Alex311. They will be able to provide assistance and address any issues related to the closure.

This temporary closure is necessary to facilitate the safe and efficient completion of essential construction work. We appreciate the understanding and cooperation of residents and motorists during this time.

"We apologize for any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause and appreciate the patience and understanding of the community." - Extreme Steel Crane & Rigging
