On Saturday, March 7, Abby Cooch, a graduate of Bishop Ireton High School, helped her current team, the Denison Big Red, secure a 63-54 win over the Trine Thunder in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The matchup, which began at 7:30 p.m. at Livingston Gymnasium, marked the first time the Denison Big Red faced the Trine Thunder in this tournament.
The Denison Big Red are set for their next game on Friday, March 13, at 5:30 p.m. at Holekamp Gym.
