Alexandria announces community meeting for West Reed Avenue and Dale Street storm sewer project

The City of Alexandria announced on Apr. 3 that it will hold a community meeting about the West Reed Avenue and Dale Street Storm Sewer Improvements on Tuesday, April 7 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Leonard “Chick” Armstrong Recreation Center at 25 West Reed Avenue.

City staff will present the final proposed drainage improvements, provide an update on project progress, and discuss expected construction impacts during the meeting. Attendees will also have an opportunity to ask questions about the project. For those unable to attend in person, virtual participation via Zoom is available with registration required through a provided online form.

The City said additional information about the project can be found on its official website. Residents who have questions or need accommodations are encouraged to contact Project Manager Mitch Dillon by email or phone, with language interpretation services also available upon request.
