Alexandria City Council cancels November 5 town hall, plans to reschedule in 2026

The Alexandria City Council has announced the cancellation of its Town Hall that was set for Wednesday, November 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. The event will be rescheduled in early 2026.

Residents who wish to contact members of the City Council can use Alex311, the city’s customer service program. Upcoming City Council events are listed at alexandriava.gov/Council. Those interested in speaking at a regular City Council meeting must complete a speaker’s form online at least one day before the meeting or fill it out at the meeting prior to speaking.

Recordings of previous meetings are available at alexandriava.gov/Dockets, and highlights from recent legislative meetings can be found on the city’s YouTube account.
