Alexandria highlights new affordable rental housing options and upcoming open house

The City of Alexandria’s Office of Housing has announced new affordable rental housing opportunities for residents. The office is highlighting the availability of accessible and affordable units, as well as providing an updated list of all available units on its Renter Resources webpage.

One highlighted opportunity is a one-bedroom accessible unit at The Tuscany, with rent set at $1,680 plus utilities. Applicants must have a minimum income of $60,912. The maximum allowable income is $68,880 for one person and $78,720 for two people. Interested individuals are encouraged to contact The Tuscany directly at 703.212.6959 for more information or to apply.

Another opportunity includes an open house event at Parkstone Alexandria on October 11 and 12, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. During the open house, specials will be offered such as waived application fees and between one to one-and-a-half months free rent on select homes, subject to restrictions.
