The Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities in Alexandria is seeking input from residents regarding their experiences with local recreation programs. The department has launched an online survey that will be available from October 1 through November 1. Community members are encouraged to participate by sharing how they engage with the city’s recreation offerings.

According to the department, the feedback gathered will help assess if current programs align with the interests and needs of Alexandria residents. The information collected will also inform efforts to enhance future events, classes, and activities.

In a statement, the department said: “Your feedback will help us understand whether our programs reflect the interests and needs of the Alexandria community, and it will also guide us as we look for ways to improve our events, classes, and programs.”

Residents can access more information about ongoing initiatives and available programs on the Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities’ official website at alexandriava.gov/Recreation.

To ensure accessibility for all participants, free interpretation and translation services are offered. Individuals needing these services can contact LanguageAccess@alexandriava.gov or call 703.746.3960. Those requiring disability accommodations may reach out to Jackie Person at Jackie.Person@alexandriava.gov or call 703.746.5423 or Virginia Relay 711.
