Alexandria partners with Grunley Construction for subcontractor outreach ahead of city renovation

Grunley Construction Company and the City of Alexandria will hold an industry outreach event for trade subcontractors on Wednesday, October 22. The session is scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m. at Alexandria City Hall, Room 1900, located at 301 King St.

The event aims to provide information about the upcoming renovation project for City Hall, Market Square, and the adjacent garage. Grunley Construction representatives will present details on the project’s scope, expected timeline, and their approach to construction.

Efforts to encourage inclusive contracting will be a focus of the meeting. The team plans to highlight ways in which Small, Women-owned, Minority-owned, Micro, and Service-Disabled Veteran-owned (SWaM) businesses can participate in the project.

A question-and-answer segment is planned as part of the agenda. Attendees will also have opportunities to network with Grunley staff and other professionals in the field.
