The Department of Planning & Zoning will hold its next virtual community update on Thursday, October 30 at 6 p.m. The session will cover updates on the Duke Street Land Use planning process, progress on the Housing 2040 Master Plan, and redevelopment projects currently under review in Alexandria. Attendees can also expect information about proposed changes to zoning regulations.

The meeting is open to all community members interested in staying informed about development initiatives and regulatory updates affecting new projects in the city. According to the department, “These updates offer community members an opportunity to stay informed about larger development projects under consideration, changes to regulations that affect new development, and upcoming planning initiatives. We encourage you to attend and learn where to find more information and how to participate in the process.”
