Alexandria planning department schedules meeting on zoning ordinance updates

The Department of Planning & Zoning in Alexandria has scheduled a community meeting to discuss proposed updates to the Zoning Ordinance. The meeting is set for Monday, September 22 at 7 p.m. and will take place in City Hall, located at 301 King Street, Sister Cities Conference Room 1101.

According to city staff, the review process will include an examination of how current regulations are functioning, identification of areas that may need clarification or updates, and collection of input from the community to guide possible changes.
