The City of Alexandria announced on Mar. 12 that it will hold a community meeting about the Hume Avenue Stormdrain Bypass Project on Monday, March 23 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Mount Vernon Recreation Center, located at 2701 Commonwealth Avenue. The meeting will also be accessible virtually via Zoom for those who register in advance.
The city said the purpose of the meeting is to present final proposed drainage improvements, provide updates on project progress, and review anticipated construction impacts. Community members will have an opportunity to ask questions during the session.
