The City of Alexandria announced on Mar. 9 that it will hold a public hearing for the Duke Street and West Taylor Run Intersection Improvement Project on Tuesday, April 7, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Department of Transportation & Environmental Services headquarters at 2900 Business Center Drive. The meeting will be held in person only.
The hearing aims to inform community members about planned changes to Duke Street between West Taylor Run Parkway and Dove Street. According to city staff, these improvements are designed to enhance safety, improve traffic operations, reduce congestion, and increase access for all users traveling through the corridor. Staff will present details during the meeting and remain available afterward to answer questions and record official comments.
Community members can submit feedback either in person at the event or in writing by Friday, April 17.
