On December 12 at approximately 12:04 p.m., police responded to a trespassing call in the 3600 block of S. Glebe Road. Officers found a male suspect acting disorderly inside a business and refusing to leave when asked by employees. As officers took him into custody, the suspect was noncompliant and kicked an officer. The officer was not injured; the suspect sustained minor injuries but refused medical attention. Jewel Martinez Rosa, 27, of Brandon, Florida, was arrested and charged with Assault on Police, Trespassing, Disorderly Conduct, and Obstruction of Justice.

Later that day at around 2:56 p.m., police were called to an assault near 12th Street S. at S. Monroe Street involving two juvenile female victims who were attacked by two known juvenile suspects during an ongoing dispute. Both victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a hospital. Petitions were obtained for the suspects.

In another incident reported at about 12:35 a.m. on December 13 in the 1000 block of S. Frederick Street, a male victim was approached by another man demanding his bicycle. When the victim refused, he was struck by the suspect who then fled the scene; no injuries were reported.

A burglary occurred on December 12 around 6:45 p.m. in the 700 block of S. Ode Street when witnesses saw one suspect force entry into an unoccupied residence before fleeing with another individual in a light-colored sedan; nothing was reported stolen.

Police also responded to an attempted robbery that happened earlier on December 11 but was reported late on December 14 in the 1500 block of Wilson Boulevard. A male suspect pushed an employee while attempting to steal electronics but fled after other employees recovered the merchandise.

Other offenses listed include multiple counts of assault and battery, destruction of property, shoplifting, trespass, larceny—including from vehicles—fraud cases such as identity theft and suspicious circumstances throughout different blocks within Arlington County.

The daily crime report notes that all information is based on initial reports made to police and may change as investigations continue or court proceedings advance.
