Police in Arlington County responded to several significant incidents between October 14 and 15, 2025, according to the latest daily crime report.
In one case, officers were dispatched just after midnight on October 15 to the 4300 block of Arlington Boulevard following a report of a suspicious person. A female resident reported hearing a noise inside her home and discovered an unknown man had entered. She screamed, alerting another household member who confronted the suspect. The man fled but was later found at N. Glebe Road and N. Pershing Drive and taken into custody. Police said Victor Vasquez, 43, of Arlington, was arrested and charged with Unlawful Entry, Public Intoxication, and Giving False Identity to Law Enforcement.
Another incident occurred around 6:36 p.m. on October 14 in the 2800 block of Clarendon Boulevard. Two women allegedly stole merchandise from a business and were confronted by a witness as they entered their vehicle. One suspect used pepper spray before both left in their car. Medics treated the witness at the scene. Officers identified one suspect and obtained warrants for Larceny with Intent to Sell and Grand Larceny; the investigation continues.
At approximately 4:44 p.m., police responded to a robbery by force in the 1500 block of Wilson Boulevard. A male suspect reportedly concealed merchandise in a bag and attempted to leave without paying. When stopped by store security, he made threats and spat on an employee before fleeing on foot. Officers searched for him but did not locate him; he is described as a light-skinned Black male about 40 years old with facial hair, wearing a beanie hat, blue puffer coat, black sweatpants, and black shoes.
Earlier that morning at about 6:35 a.m., officers investigated a late burglary report in the 2100 block of Wilson Boulevard where someone forced entry into an under-construction business between roughly 4:11 a.m. and 6:23 a.m., caused property damage, stole construction equipment, then left the scene.
Other reported incidents included disorderly conduct (3100 block of Wilson Boulevard), assault and battery (Bluemont Drive at N. Frederick Street; 4200 block of 2nd Road N.;1300 block of S. Eads Street), shoplifting (1200 block of S. Hayes Street;900 block Army Navy Drive), larceny from auto (2200 block of 20th Street N.;2600 block S.Vance Court), larceny (1300 block S.Dinwiddie Street;4100 block S.Four Mile Run Drive;1200 block N.Vermont Street;1100 block S.Joyce Street;1600 block N.Abingdon Street), identity theft (3100 block N.Quincy Street;4600 block of 4th St.S.), fraud (700 block of15th St.S.;3600block Columbia Pike)and thefts involving vehicles including a stolen silver Porsche Spyder from the3100block Richmond Highway.

The police remind residents that all individuals arrested or charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
