The Arlington County Police Department’s Emergency Response Team (ERT) is scheduled to conduct a training exercise in Crystal City on Tuesday, September 16, 2025. The event will take place inside a building located in the 1800 block of S. Bell Street from approximately 6:00 p.m. to midnight.

Residents and people working nearby may notice an increased presence of public safety vehicles and law enforcement officers during this period. Noise coming from the building may also be heard in the vicinity. Authorities have clarified that these activities are part of a planned training session.

“Realistic training is critical to enhancing ACPD’s response capabilities and ensuring our officers remain prepared to respond to any public safety incident that may occur in Arlington County or the region,” according to the Arlington County Police Department.

This exercise is not open to the public.
