The Arlington County Police Department released its daily crime report for September 9, 2025, summarizing significant incidents from the previous days. A late report of sexual battery was filed for an incident that occurred at approximately 11:10 a.m. on September 5 in the 4200 block of Fairfax Drive. According to police, a male victim was inside a business when a male suspect approached him from behind, grabbed his buttocks, and fled. The suspect is described as a Black male wearing khaki shorts. The investigation continues.
Another late report involved unlawful entry in the 1700 block of N. Troy Street. On September 7 at about 4:40 p.m., a female victim returned home and found a known male suspect inside her residence. After she confronted him, he left the home and fled. Police are investigating the circumstances.
Additional incidents listed include recovered stolen vehicles, larceny, obstructing justice, assault and battery, harassment, shoplifting, larceny from auto, vehicle tampering, suspicious circumstances, identity theft, fraud, extortion, and other offenses across various locations in Arlington County.
