Arlington County Police released their daily crime report for October 7, 2025, summarizing significant incidents from the previous days. The report includes details on narcotics violations, assaults, larcenies, and other offenses.
At around 2:40 a.m. on October 5, officers responded to a single-vehicle crash in the 800 block of N. Randolph Street. After investigating, police arrested Sami Bukair, 40, of Springfield, VA. He was charged with Driving Under the Influence and Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana after a distribution amount of marijuana was found during an inventory search of his vehicle. Bukair is being held without bond.
In another incident reported at approximately 12:18 a.m. on October 7 in the unit block of S. Old Glebe Road, police responded to a stabbing. The male victim was sitting outside when a man approached him, yelled at him, and assaulted him with a sharp object before fleeing in a dark-colored sedan. Officers provided aid to the victim before he was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. The suspect is described as a bald white male between 65 and 70 years old. The investigation remains ongoing.
The report also lists several other incidents including multiple counts of assault and battery across various locations such as S. Hayes Street, N. Stafford Street, Columbia Pike, N. Wayne Street, and others; destruction of property; larceny; trespass; vehicle tampering; shoplifting; and reports of stolen vehicles.
