APS recognized 122 employees for their long-term service during the School Board Meeting on February 19, 2026. The Service Awards honored staff who have worked with Arlington Public Schools (APS) for 25, 30, 35, or 40 years.

The group of honorees included teachers, administrators, extended day staff, and members of the facilities and maintenance teams. APS stated that although these employees serve in different roles, they share a commitment to serving students and the community.

This year’s awards were given to 89 employees with 25 years of service, 27 employees with 30 years, seven employees with 35 years, and four employees who reached the milestone of 40 years.

Each employee received a certificate and a token of appreciation. According to APS: “Each person reached career milestones of 25, 30, 35 or 40 years with APS.” The district added: “We thank them for their dedication, their passion and the countless lives they have shaped throughout their careers.”

APS said: “Congratulations to all our 2026 Service Award recipients! Your commitment is what makes APS stronger every day.”
