The 41st annual Army Ten-Miler race is scheduled for Sunday, October 12, 2025. The event will start at 7:50 a.m. on Route 110, cross the Key Bridge into Washington, D.C., return to Virginia via the 14th Street Bridge using the northbound I-395 HOV lanes, and finish at the Pentagon reservation.

Law enforcement agencies including the Arlington County Police Department, Virginia State Police, United States Park Police, Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department, Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall Police Department, and the Pentagon Force Protection Agency will implement road closures in areas around the Pentagon, Crystal City, and Rosslyn to accommodate the race.

Access to and from the Pentagon North Parking lot and Boundary Channel Drive will be restricted from 4:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on race day. Parking for Pentagon employees and visitors to the Pentagon Memorial will only be available in the South Parking lot via Columbia Pike and S. Joyce Street.

Participants are encouraged to use multimodal or ridesharing services due to limited parking availability. Rideshare drop-off and pick-up zones have been set up on both sides of S. Hayes Street between Army Navy Drive and 12th Street S. Spectators are advised to use Metro or other public transportation options; both Pentagon and Pentagon City Metro stations (Blue and Yellow lines) are within walking distance of the start and finish lines. More information about Metro service hours can be found on the WMATA website.

Increased police presence is expected throughout the area during the event. Motorists are asked to follow law enforcement instructions, pay attention to road closures, watch for increased pedestrian activity, and observe temporary “No Parking” signs. Vehicles parked illegally may be ticketed or towed; information about towed vehicles can be accessed through an online portal that provides real-time updates. For assistance with locating a vehicle or using the portal, individuals can call Arlington County’s non-emergency number at 703-558-2222.

“The safety and security of runners and spectators remain a top priority for law enforcement,” according to officials involved in planning for race day.

The public is urged to remain vigilant in crowded areas during the event by reporting suspicious behavior or unattended items directly to police along the route or by calling emergency services if needed.
