Sunday, Feb. 22 saw Nyla Brooks, formerly of Bishop Ireton High School, contribute to the North Carolina Tar Heels’ 78-50 victory over the Pittsburgh Panthers.
The freshman guard, who stands 6-foot-1, finished with 18 points, six rebounds and two steals across 27 minutes on the court.
Brooks and North Carolina are scheduled to play at the Virginia Cavaliers on Thursday, Feb. 26, with tipoff set for 7 p.m.
