Of the 233,464 citizens living in Arlington County in 2019, 191,897 were old enough to vote as of Jan. 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 96,341 of those people were female and 95,556 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
