On Saturday, March 21, Brian Weiser, a former standout at Washington-Liberty High School and current member of the Christopher Newport Captains, saw his college team defeated by the Emory Eagles, 72-58, in the NCAA Division III Tournament.

The matchup took place at 5:30 p.m. at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.
