Former Washington-Liberty High School standout Brian Weiser helped lead the Christopher Newport Captains to a 75-62 win over the Stevens Ducks Friday, March 6, in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The teams faced off at Freeman Center at 5:45 p.m., marking their first tournament meeting against the Stevens Ducks.
Christopher Newport will play its next game on Saturday, March 7, at 5:45 p.m. at Freeman Center.
