City Market Square Garage to Undergo Repairs

The City of Alexandria will be completing repairs on the Market Square Parking Garage (108 N. Fairfax St.) starting Monday, November 13, through Friday, November 24. The garage will remain open and available for parking during this time. No work will be conducted on Thursday, November 23, in observance of Thanksgiving Day.

Repairs will be conducted on isolated portions of the upper and lower levels of the garage daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The construction locations will be closed off with signage and safety barriers, limiting access to certain spaces, but all spaces not impacted by the construction will remain open for use.

Visitors may experience loud noise related to the construction during this time and are encouraged to use public transportation.

Capital Bikeshare

Capital Bikeshare, the region’s bikeshare service, operates 5,000 bikes and 700+ stations across seven local jurisdictions, including the City of Alexandria. Residents are encouraged to use the following docking stations in the vicinity of City Hall: 

Market Square/King St. and Royal St.

King St. and N. Pitt St.
