Trash, recycling, yard waste, and curbside composting collection services in Alexandria have been cancelled for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday this week due to post-storm weather conditions. The City of Alexandria announced that there will be no make-up collections for these days.
The revised schedule for the week of January 26-30 is as follows: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday collections are all cancelled. The city stated that “Next steps will come as conditions improve.”
Residents whose trash, recycling, curbside compost, leaves, or yard waste are not collected on the rescheduled day can submit a missed collection ticket online or contact Alex311 by phone.
