Loudoun County will close a section of northbound Algonkian Parkway for intersection improvements from May 11 through May 22. Residents should use alternate routes as entrances, sidewalks, and some community access points will be affected during weekday daytime hours.
The Loudoun County School Board has scheduled its next meeting for May 12 in Ashburn. Members of the public can participate either virtually or in person after following sign-up procedures outlined by officials.
Loudoun County’s latest government surplus auction offers vehicles, appliances, furniture and more until May 14. Bidders must register online to participate and follow specific pickup procedures for purchased items.
