Rep. Don Beyer, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Virginia’s 8th district, expressed his views on recent actions by the Trump Administration through a series of tweets. Beyer has been a member of Congress since 2015 and holds a degree from Williams College.

On July 10, 2025, Rep. Beyer criticized the Trump Administration with a post stating, “The Trump Administration breaks new ground finding stupid ways to elevate kooks and loons every day. This is genuinely insane.”

In another tweet from the same day, he questioned potential future investigations by NASA: “Will NASA investigate the moon landing next? It doesn’t seem so unlikely at this point!”

Later that day, Rep. Beyer addressed concerns about staffing at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). He tweeted: “There are scientists who work at the Environmental Protection Agency who could explain water vapor and condensation to @epaleezeldin but unfortunately he is trying to fire all of them.”
