Rep. Don Beyer, a U.S. Congressman representing Virginia’s 8th district since 2015, expressed his views on several matters through a series of tweets on March 26, 2025. Born in Trieste in 1950 and currently residing in Alexandria, Beyer has been an active political figure since replacing Jim Moran.

In a tweet posted at 13:52 UTC, Rep. Beyer called for the resignation of Hegseth with the statement: “Hegseth must resign. This is not a close call.”

Later that day, at 16:15 UTC, he addressed issues surrounding Tulsi Gabbard, stating: “The much simpler and more honest answer is that Tulsi Gabbard has been trying to conceal damaging and embarrassing information in every single response since this story broke.” He further commented, “She was lying. She should resign or be fired.”
