Duke Street Land Use Plan community meeting set for October 23

The City of Alexandria is organizing the third Duke Street Land Use Plan Community Meeting, scheduled for Thursday, October 23, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The event will take place at the Patrick Henry Recreation Center and will also be accessible online via Zoom. The meeting will focus on topics related to housing, mobility, and safety.

Attendees can reach the in-person meeting location using the free DASH Bus Route 30. Signage will be available onsite to guide participants. Food will be provided during the event, and language interpretation services will be offered through Zoom. Those attending in person who require interpretation are encouraged to join the Zoom meeting on their mobile devices and use headphones for translation services. Requests for interpretation in additional languages should be directed to Christian Brandt, Urban Planner, before October 16.

Community members who could not attend the previous meeting on September 25 or wish to provide further input are invited to participate in an online feedback opportunity through the Engagement Hub until October 23.
