Arlington Public Schools (APS) has named five staff members as APS All Stars for February 2026. The recognition highlights employees who demonstrate dedication, professionalism, and a commitment to supporting students, colleagues, and the community.

Jennifer Taylor, a special education teacher at Williamsburg Middle School, is recognized for building strong relationships with students. She is known for her kindness and patience in creating a supportive learning environment. Taylor advocates for students with special needs and works closely with families and colleagues to ensure each student receives necessary support.

At Tuckahoe Elementary School, Justin Robinson is honored for his student-centered approach and collaboration with families. He communicates clearly about important details and deadlines while guiding students and families through complex situations. Robinson’s leadership focuses on keeping the best interests of students at the forefront.

Jessica Berg from Campbell Elementary School is celebrated for her innovative classroom instruction. Her expertise in curriculum design provides engaging learning experiences that incorporate hands-on activities and real-world applications. Berg’s classroom is described as warm and purposeful, fostering meaningful learning every day.

Conor O’Rourke at Drew Elementary School receives recognition for his steady leadership during times of change. He supports both students and staff by providing stability and taking on additional responsibilities when needed. O’Rourke’s compassion makes him a trusted member of the school community.

Nicholas Coleman at Syphax Education Center is acknowledged for his professionalism and calm leadership across APS. He assists staff and leaders in navigating complex situations with sound judgment while maintaining respectful collaboration focused on policy, people, and student success.

Dr. Francisco Durán stated: “Congratulations to APS All Star Jennifer Taylor at Williamsburg! Her kindness, patience and strong connections with students make a lasting difference every day. Thank you for helping all students feel supported and seen.”

“Celebrating APS All Star Justin Robinson at Tuckahoe! Justin keeps students at the center, partners closely with families and leads with care and clarity. Thank you for your dedication to student success,” Dr. Durán added.

He also remarked: “Congratulations to APS All Star Jessica Berg at Campbell! Her creativity, expertise and engaging instruction help students thrive and make learning meaningful every day.”

On Conor O’Rourke’s recognition: “Shoutout to APS All Star Conor O’Rourke at Drew! Conor’s compassion, dedication and steady support help students thrive, especially during times of change. Thank you for being such a trusted presence.”

Regarding Nicholas Coleman: “Congratulations to APS All Star Nicholas Coleman at Syphax! Known for professionalism and calm leadership, Nicholas supports staff and leaders across APS with care and expertise. Thank you for all you do.”

APS expressed gratitude toward these individuals whose efforts reflect the strength of local schools in creating environments where all students can succeed.
