On Saturday, March 7, the Mary Washington Eagles, featuring former Alexandria City High School standout Kye Robinson, defeated the Amherst Mammoths 81-64 in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
Ron Rosner Arena hosted the 7:30 p.m. game, marking the teams’ first tournament meeting.
The Eagles are scheduled to play again on Saturday, March 14 at 6 p.m. at Ron Rosner Arena.
