The Office of Housing is hosting a virtual community meeting on Monday, December 4, to solicit input for a study that is examining how a local rental subsidy program could be designed, structured, and operated in the city. City staff, along with HDAdvisors and the Virginia Center for Housing Research, are undertaking the study to help inform future City Council discussions. No program funding is being proposed at this time.

Following a short presentation, participants will have the opportunity to share their ideas and ask questions regarding the study. Questions may also be sent in advance of the meeting to Mike Saunders at the Office of Housing at Michael.Saunders@alexandriava.gov or 703.746.3089. The questions will be read and responded to during the meeting.

The meeting will be held virtually on Monday, December 4, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., via Zoom, with Spanish, Amharic, and Arabic interpretation. To request interpretation in another language, please contact Mike Saunders at Michael.Saunders@alexandriava.gov or 703.746.3089 by Monday, November 27.
