The Loudoun County Health Department will be closed to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21, for staff training, according to an announcement made on April 17.

The temporary closure is intended to allow department staff to participate in training activities that support their ability to provide health care services and ensure the well-being of county residents.

During the closure period, in-person services at the department will not be available. However, phone calls regarding emergency service needs will continue to be monitored. The office is scheduled to reopen for in-person services at 1:00 p.m. on April 21, and any emails or messages received during the closure will be addressed once operations resume.

Officials said that ongoing training is essential for maintaining high standards among health department staff who deliver a range of health care services throughout Loudoun County.
