Loudoun County Public Schools was honored with the 2026 District Team Leadership Award by the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) at its annual conference in Chicago on April 17.
The award recognizes a district leadership team whose use of technology has made a significant impact on student learning. CoSN is an association of K-12 education technology leaders, and this recognition highlights the efforts of Loudoun County Public Schools’ team to transform education through digital innovation.
According to the announcement, more than 270 technology leaders at Loudoun County Public Schools work together to improve student learning, empower teachers, strengthen family partnerships, and serve their community. “I am very proud of the outstanding Digital Innovation Team here at Loudoun County Public Schools and their well-deserved recognition with the CoSN District Team Leadership Award,” said Dr. Aaron Spence, Superintendent of Loudoun County Public Schools. “Their commitment to innovative, student-centered solutions is transforming how we support learning across our division. The school system manages projects that affect over 80,000 students daily through its Department of Digital Innovation. The approach is described as collaborative and based on trust among team members who share a commitment to supporting students.
Keith Krueger, CEO of CoSN, said: “Loudoun County Public Schools exemplifies what’s possible when district leaders work together with a shared vision for students.
