Dr. Aaron Spence, Superintendent of Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS), discussed the district’s budget process with Sharon Willoughby, Chief Financial Officer, in the latest Think Fast video. Earlier in the week, Dr. Spence presented the Superintendent’s Estimate of Needs during two budget planning meetings. At the second meeting, LCPS leadership delivered a series of detailed presentations to support this estimate.

Additional meetings are scheduled to further review and discuss the proposed fiscal year 2027 budget. As the region anticipates a major snowstorm, LCPS is offering optional snow day learning resources to help students remain engaged during school closures.

Dr. Spence stated, “Earlier this week, in two budget planning meetings, Dr. Spence presented the Superintendent’s Estimate of Needs and, at the second meeting, LCPS leadership gave a  series of detailed presentations to support the SEON.”

Further information on these topics can be found in this week’s LCPS Letter.
