Superintendent Aaron Spence of Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) has released a message emphasizing the school division’s ongoing efforts to provide a safe and supportive environment for all students and families. In his weekly LCPS Letter, Spence stated the division is committed to making sure everyone feels welcome in its schools.

The latest update also includes an overview of the recently adopted budget for fiscal year 2027. Details on the allocation of funds were not specified in the letter, but it highlights planning for the upcoming academic year.

Spence recognized LCPS bus drivers for their work during last week’s snowstorm. “We’re giving a special shout‑out to our bus drivers, who tackled the transportation related impacts of last week’s snowstorm with determination, clearing, warming up, and preparing hundreds of buses so students could travel safely,” he wrote.
