Loudoun County has received the 2025 Achievement of Excellence in Procurement Award from the National Procurement Institute. This recognition is given to public and nonprofit agencies that show a strong commitment to procurement excellence. Loudoun County is one of only 48 counties in the United States to receive this award in 2025.

The award highlights organizations that focus on innovation, professionalism, productivity, leadership, and e-procurement. The Loudoun County Division of Procurement has now earned this distinction for 27 consecutive years.

According to the county, “The Loudoun County Division of Procurement is responsible for the acquisition of all goods and services, including professional services and construction, for Loudoun County government operations.” More information about the county’s procurement process can be found at https://www.loudoun.gov/procurement.
