Loudoun County Republican Committee has posted a series of messages on X (formerly Twitter) addressing concerns over alleged gerrymandering by Virginia Democrats and highlighting policy priorities for the state.

On January 27, 2026, the committee wrote: “Virginia democrats are GERRYMANDERING your state with many unlawful steps taken to do so.

If you don’t vote, Republicans will LOSE CONTROL of the Federal House Seats that allow Republicans to pass legislation.

Vote NO on April 21.

Later that day, the committee shared a message focusing on state development: “Virginia can transform foster care, honor veterans, connect Virginians to broadband, invest in infrastructure, and accelerate economic activity by prioritizing results over activity. #Virginia #Opportunity https://t.co/vYyaC3HHXA” (January 27, 2026).

A similar message about redistricting was posted at noon: “Virginia democrats are GERRYMANDERING your state with many unlawful steps taken to do so.

If you don’t vote, Republicans will LOSE CONTROL of the Federal House Seats that allow Democrats to Impeach Our Leaders.

Vote NO on April 21.

Redistricting has been a recurring issue in Virginia politics. Allegations of partisan gerrymandering have emerged from both major parties in recent years. In 2021, an independent commission was established in Virginia to redraw legislative districts after the U.S. Census; however, disputes led to court intervention and judicial selection of new maps for both congressional and legislative seats. These changes have continued to be a source of debate among political organizations and voters in the state.
