Loudoun County Republican Committee, an organization representing Republicans in Loudoun County, Virginia, posted a series of tweets in mid-February 2026 addressing concerns about state politics and university values.
On February 15, the committee alleged that Democrats are engaging in improper redistricting practices. The tweet stated: “Virginia democrats are GERRYMANDERING your state with many unlawful steps taken to do so.
If you don’t vote, Republicans will LOSE CONTROL of the Federal House Seats that allow Democrats to Impeach Our Leaders.
Vote NO on April 21.

The following day, the committee highlighted the University of Virginia’s mission. In a tweet from February 16, they wrote: “UVA’s strength comes from its people: faculty, staff, students, and alumni. The university aims to lead in human-centered innovation and champion access to education for all, regardless of financial ability. #UVA #HigherEd https://t.co/9Y3w2QLnWX” (posted February 16, 2026).
Later on February 16, another post focused on local election logistics. The committee explained their need for volunteers during elections: “Each year, Virginia has elections. Each year, the Loudoun Republicans require 1,500 volunteers to help run our election for us. We place volunteers at all 107 precincts in Loudoun. Each precinct requires around 10 volunteers during the day. Each spending 2-5 hours outside” (posted February 16, 2026).
Redistricting and allegations of gerrymandering have been recurring topics in Virginia politics as both major parties seek favorable district maps during each cycle.
