Loudoun County announced on May 1 that it will hold a virtual public meeting about the Route 15 and Braddock Road Roundabout project. The meeting is scheduled for Monday, May 11, at 6:00 p.m., and aims to gather input from residents regarding the planned construction of a four-legged roundabout at the intersection of Route 15 (James Monroe Highway), Braddock Road (Route 705), and Old Carolina Road (Route 615).
The county said this meeting is important for community members who want to learn more about the project or share their feedback. Meeting materials, including a presentation, exhibit, and comment form, will be available online at loudoun.gov/Route15Roundabout. Those wishing to ask questions verbally during the session must sign up by noon on Friday, May 8.
Participants can also submit questions via Q&A messages during the event. Comments will be accepted through an online form until Friday, May 29. For individuals without internet access, comments may be provided by phone at 703-737-8624. All feedback will be shared with both design and construction teams as well as the Board of Supervisors.
The project receives funding from local, state, and federal sources such as Regional Surface Transportation Program funds allocated through the Northern Virginia Transportation Authority and Virginia Department of Transportation; Virginia’s Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality funds; Smart Scale funding administered by VDOT; and NVTA’s regional funding.
Anyone needing accommodations due to disability or language assistance should contact county staff by calling 571-627-7108 or sending an email three business days before the meeting.
More details about this transportation initiative are available on Loudoun County’s website.
