The Loudoun County School Board began the new year with its annual organizational meeting on January 6. During this meeting, newly elected members of the School Board were sworn in. The district encourages residents to learn more about their representatives through the weekly LCPS Letter.

In addition to welcoming new board members, Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) and the School Board have set dates for discussions regarding the Fiscal Year 2027 budget. Community participation is encouraged throughout this process.

Families with children who will turn five years old are reminded that kindergarten registration opens on January 20. Information and guidance about registration, along with other updates, are available in this week’s LCPS Letter.
