The Loudoun Workforce Resource Center and Loudoun Extension Services announced on March 11 that they will host two sessions of a retirement planning workshop titled “Start Smart, Finish Smart: Retirement Options Explained” in April.

The workshops aim to help individuals better understand workplace retirement plans and personal investment options. Organizers say the sessions are designed for people who are currently employed, between jobs, or preparing to enter the workforce.

There will be two versions of the workshop: one in-person and one virtual. The in-person session is scheduled for Monday, April 13, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Loudoun Workforce Resource Center located at 705 East Market St, Suite E, Leesburg. The virtual session will take place on Thursday, April 16, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Both sessions are free and will be presented by a financial literacy educator with Loudoun Extension Services. Anyone interested may choose which session to attend.

Those requiring accommodations for disabilities or language assistance are encouraged to contact the Loudoun Workforce Resource Center at 703-777-0150 (Virginia Relay 711) with three business days’ notice. More information is available by calling the center or visiting loudoun.gov/wrc.
