The Mary Washington Eagles, led by former Alexandria City High School standout Kye Robinson, secured a 73-68 victory over the UW La Crosse Eagles in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament on Saturday, March 14.
Ron Rosner Arena was the site of the 6 p.m. contest, which marked the teams’ first meeting in the tournament.
Mary Washington’s next tournament game is scheduled for Thursday, March 19 at 9 p.m. at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.
