Michael Powell appears in Penn’s April 5 NCAA Division I matchup against Columbia

Michael Powell, a former Bishop O’Connell High School standout, played for the Penn Quakers on Sunday, April 5, at 12 p.m., as the team fell 21-11 to the Columbia Lions in an NCAA Division I baseball matchup.

The matchup was held at Robertson Field at Satow Stadium. This marked the third meeting between the two teams this season, and they remain tied in the season series.

Powell had one hit in two at-bats, scored two runs and drew two walks.

Penn’s next scheduled game is set for Saturday, April 11, versus the Cornell Big Red at Meiklejohn Stadium.
