Former Bishop Ireton High School star Nyla Brooks played for the North Carolina Tar Heels as they claimed a 74-66 victory over the Maryland Terrapins in the NCAA Tournament on Sunday, March 22.
The matchup was held at the Dean E. Smith Center with a noon tipoff.
Brooks recorded six points, eight rebounds and one assist over 28 minutes of play.
