Arlington County Police have released the daily crime report for September 8, 2025, detailing several significant incidents that occurred over recent days. The report is issued every weekday, excluding county holidays, and includes information from initial police reports.

On September 5 at approximately 10:19 p.m., officers responded to a stabbing in the 800 block of S. Arlington Mill Drive. According to police, a male victim was attacked by three male suspects after exiting his parked vehicle. The suspects allegedly assaulted him and used a knife, resulting in non-life-threatening injuries. Officers located and arrested Jacobo Orellana Turcios, 25, of Arlington, charging him with Malicious Wounding and Obstruction of Justice. A juvenile male suspect was also taken into custody on similar charges.

On September 6 at about 6:33 p.m., police were dispatched to an assault in the 3400 block of Washington Boulevard. Two juvenile male suspects reportedly assaulted three males following an earlier dispute. Two juveniles sustained minor injuries while an adult had serious but non-life-threatening injuries; all sought medical care independently. The suspects left before police arrived and the investigation continues.

A separate incident occurred on September 7 around 7:54 p.m., again in the 3400 block of Washington Boulevard. A female victim reported being yelled at by another woman who then threw a glass bottle at her, causing multiple lacerations. Medics treated the victim on scene for minor injuries while officers searched unsuccessfully for the suspect, described as a Black female about 60 years old.

Earlier on September 5 at approximately 10:51 a.m., a robbery by force took place at Fairfax Drive and N. Lincoln Street when a man was shoved off his bike by another man who then fled with it. No injuries were reported and officers did not locate the suspect.

Police are also investigating a late-reported malicious wounding that happened around 1:50 a.m. on September 7 near Clarendon Boulevard. A female victim said she was assaulted by a Hispanic male after he briefly spoke with her and then stole an item of clothing before fleeing.

A burglary reported on September 5 revealed that between March and August unknown suspect(s) forced entry into a storage unit in the 2700 block of S. Nelson Street and stole clothing items and art.
