Police investigate stabbing and other incidents in Arlington County

A stabbing was reported on the 900 block of S. Dinwiddie Street in Arlington County at approximately 9:04 p.m. on October 7, according to the Arlington County Police Department. The incident involved an adult male victim who was assaulted with a knife by a male suspect. The victim sustained lacerations and was transported to a hospital with injuries that were described as non-life-threatening. The suspect fled the scene on foot, and officers were unable to locate him after canvassing the area. Police described the suspect as a Hispanic male wearing all black clothing. The investigation is ongoing.

Other incidents reported in Arlington County included trespassing, assault and battery, recovered stolen vehicle, shoplifting, vehicle tampering, suspicious circumstances, fraud, larceny from auto, destruction of property, and additional larceny cases across various locations.
