Seniors in Alexandria are invited to participate in the upcoming “Robust Walk-a-thon,” a fitness event focused on promoting health and social engagement. The walk-a-thon is scheduled for Tuesday, September 30, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Ben Brenman Park, located at 4800 Brenman Park Dr.

The event is designed as a low-intensity walking experience tailored for seniors. Attendees will take part in a guided walk along the park’s trails and engage in light exercises using park benches to support balance, flexibility, and strength.

A suggested donation of $10 or more is encouraged to help fund community programs such as the Senior Winter Holiday Celebration and the Senior Health & Fitness Fair.
