Last night, at approximately 7:51 p.m., Alexandria Police Officers responded to the 800 block of Manor Road after reports of shots fired and a man down. Subsequently, an adult male was dropped off at the hospital and later declared deceased.
The victim has been identified as Carl Harris, 23, from Alexandria, VA. The Office of the Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
Detectives are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident and canvassing the area.
