Gadsby’s Tavern Museum hosts Civil War-era mystery event

An event titled "Death at the City Hotel" will take place at Gadsby’s Tavern Museum in Alexandria on October 26, 2024. The program will delve into Civil War-era deaths that occurred at the historic City Hotel, which is now home to the museum.

Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the history of the hotel's role during the Civil War through interactive activities and storytelling. The event aims to educate participants about evolving medical and grieving practices from that era. Tickets for the event are priced at $35 per person or $30 for Historic Alexandria Members and Volunteers. Each ticket includes one drink.
